Complex Litigation Paralegal | Boston, MA | $75K-$115K + Hybrid

Join a Boston-based litigation team where you will work directly with attorneys on a steady pipeline of complex litigation matters, including product liability, toxic tort, class action, and commercial disputes.

This opportunity is suited for an experienced paralegal who is looking for meaningful involvement in high-stakes cases and consistent exposure to trial work in a fast-paced environment.

You will support a complex litigation practice handling defense-side matters, including product liability and toxic tort cases. The role spans all phases of litigation, with opportunities for trial preparation and attendance.

The position offers a collaborative team environment with accessible leadership and exposure to substantive legal work on active cases.

  • Details: Hybrid (3:2) schedule after initial onboarding | Downtown Boston
  • Compensation: $75,000 to $115,000 annually DOE

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, from discovery through trial, including trial preparation, attendance, and travel as needed
  • Review and analyze case materials to identify relevant information across assigned matters
  • Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence
  • Manage and organize large volumes of documents using litigation support and document management systems
  • Track deadlines and coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, and opposing counsel to maintain case progress
  • Coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, and trial, including travel arrangements when required
  • Collaborate across the team while managing multiple active cases in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting attorneys in an active litigation practice, ideally within a mid-size to large law firm; paralegal certificate required
  • Defense-side experience preferred, with exposure to product liability or complex litigation matters
  • Trial preparation experience, including trial attendance, is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle and ability to identify relevant information in case materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and high-volume workloads
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems such as NetDocuments or similar
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for trial and case-related matters
